I have notice there is a problem in identifying clans (Bororiet)and family (oret)
Among the Nandi there are 8 clans eg Kapchepkendi,Kaptalam, Kamililo,kapsiondoi,Kabochek etc and there are 16 oretunwek eg Kiboiis,kipyegen,kimoongoi etc and each of these oretunwek have a totem or animal associated with and some have 2 totems eg kiboiis Lelekwek and kiboiis solobtiot and thus there are 26 totems among the Nandis.

thats good, why don't you write an article in full detail about these issues and we will publish it right here on the biikabkutit website for Nandis to see and hopfully learn from there.

I have divided my research into 4 approaches with sampling done in Aldai- The origin of Nandis, then Kipkaren salient, Ziwa and Lesoss!
