Post SHOULD WE EMBRACE INHERITANCE OF POWER?
Ladies and gentlemen, i respect you all ngo ichepyoso anan ko iboiyon. My point of contention is should we embrace inheritance of power like what has just hapened in Bomet,Sotik and Ainamoi? are all the brains the same? does it mean that when any M.P kicks then hakuna mtu mwingine from outside his family can contest in any By-Election?

II.. yawa

Ladies and gentlemen it has nothing to do with wether we embrace or not! its all to do with nature & character of the kalenjin people.Biikabkutit are so sypamthetic,caring to some extent,are not driven by jealoust and tamaa like our fellows from the mountain,and they like moving like a flock of sheep.All this contributes to our decision making and how far we can go as a community,unles this changes and we embrace full capitalism we might have some mileage to cover before we catch up with our "brothers" from the slopes

Post i would say no
As much as we are caring, sympathetic,apologetic...... bla bla bla i think we should go for a person who is competent and able to deliver and give others a fair chance as well.

it is our responsibility, young people to show biikchok the way[size=18]

@TARZ
thou we tend to symbatize this isn't the way to do it.
what surambaya is saying is out of question, to enjoy what on whose part, we wacha
so the political or power inheritance should not be embraced in this era of young genaration as all have the capability to lead and rule depending on his/her power to navigate the journey to victory...this is not the kings shrine regime ama udictator be civilised and let it be known that there is civilisation in our community as a whole lol"

@kazibure,
Please enlighten me of why people go for elections after every 5 years coz it seems am lost,i thought people voted because they wantd to drive their visions and misions and thus vote for the people who share and can drive the same sentiments to achievement.So if we go for by-elections and vote for families what we will be doing is sacrificing the visions of 1 million families in the constituency so that 1 family can fulfil theirs in the name of sympathy,i believe the individual and the family are 2 different entities and have different capacities and capabilities.

KB you know what? emotions aside, we cant help but feel sorry for the family esp if the deceased was the breadwinner but also we should think of the future n what becomes of the thousand families represented here, r u gonna sacrifice the future of the children growing up for the sake of only one family?? whatever it is they wil sought it out, it don matter if they will be humbled then they will have to struggle with thousand others, thats life u cant change that.
