Bush calls for a power sharing agreement in Kenya
Are the Americans waking up to realty at long last
If the Americans are waking up now to the realties of the matter in Kenya then thats good news for all of us who love Kenya dearly except for a few who think Kenya belongs to them alone. Better late than never as it was in Rwanda.
George Bush is in Africa at the moment and at every stop he makes a point to emphasis one crucial point " power sharing agreement in Kenya", whether he is in Benin or Tanzania. It became so embarrassing when he landed in Benin and the first question he was asked by the traveling journalist was about the turmoil in Kenya. Same thing happened in Arusha TZ when Japanese journalist asked him about Kenya five times before he even made a statement to thank the Tanzanian people for welcoming him.
This brings us to exactly what Hon Ruto said during the campaigns ; Atakae iba kura athubutu atakiona chamtemakuni:, well if this is not chamtema kuni I don't know what it is.
If there is going to be power shearing in Kenya what does this confirm?
Americans have now officially joined the EU and UK to out line what will happen if the power shearing agreement doesn't go through. To me these statements by the Americans sounds exactly like what Ruto had said if translated into Swahili.

These PNU guys seem to be threatening everybody. I saw some people burn the american flag in Nyeri town today to protest american interference. If we can't let our friends critique us, then what kind of democracy do we expect to have? We are always fearing that every diplomat from the west (be it Rice or who)have bad intentions for us. Like Obama says every now and then is that we should stop living in fear and have hope. We should learn to look at things from a positive side before we jump to pessimistic conclusions.
By the way, chebtabkoret how old are you? guys, i am sorry to out of topic, but ananijazz kiplani

Someone else had to tell us to dance this way and dance that way coz we could not figure out just how to dance to our own tune. We are in a sorry state of affairs where we can not even clean our own house. Useless politicians! What a waste of humanity on any of these so called leaders. They have brought shame to us, our children and their children. It shall take generation to recover from this gawking mortgage we must now satisfy on behalf of tribalisim, hate and utter stupidity in the name of democracy. Shame on Kibaki, shame on Raila...shame on all who have perpetrated the current quagmire in our nation. Bunch of gawks!

It's way past midnight now and I'm not about to go to bed on this one. Please mr gkm1, tell me what hon Raila did wrong. Was it a crime for the over whelming majority of Kenyans to vote for him and choose him as their next president? If your argument is gonna be Raila also rigged the elections then why is Kibaki acting like a Saint as if nothing happened? why are we where we are at the moment?.
The only crime Raila ever committed here was to stand up for what belongs to him and his supporter.
