Post kalenjin politics takes a new twist.
:D :D :D I was suprised to hear that the mp seat at Ainamoi constituency will be takenover automatically by the bro to the late Hon. Too, Mr. Benjamin Too and no one is allowed in any way to oppose him.The constituents said that anyone who'll be in the contrary to this idea will face the full force of the Ainamoi law.The kind of discipline will be; destruction of property and many other forms.Unfortunately even the former opponents were given the RED light not to dare. :)

Yeah, I support the idea. It happens throughout the world, and more often than we can think of.

Its unfortunate situation and to give a reprieve to Mr Too's opponent to revived their political life is a disaster, in my opinion.

The mandate was given to Mr Too, and Mr Toos. I hope the brother will follow the footsteps.

I think it is a good idea. It shows how much the people of Ainaimoi loved the guy. Africans have good hearts - they don't want the family to suffer while their son died fighting for the community. we live in a community where we appreciate modernity and traditionality, all at the same time.

Yes it a good idea because I see it is the people's choice. Sometimes, not always, leadership is a family issue. God Bless Too's Family.

Folks, I am fully behind the idea as well, not because the Too's are cousins of mine but coz Ainamoi people went to the polls and gave their vote & a definite mandate to the late Hon Principal David Kimutai Arap Too for a five year period...in lieu of that fact, anyone coming up to run for that seat would be considered an opportunist, trying to take advantage of a massive tragedy and wouldn't have the full trust of his constituents...I say more more to Benjamin Too whom I am sure will fulfill his late brother's economic agendas. AINAMOI will rise again :D

we should stop running around creating dynasties, in the name that only one family can produce capable leaders.....what happen to democracy that we are trying so hard to built.????...if Too's bro is capable of facing with rivals it out n coming out strong, that is what we want...lakini to hell with family rulers....why are they denying the opponents from also trying it out.

It is not a dynasty. Too was a first time mp. It happens all over the world though...loook at Bush, Clinton and Bhutto, nyaga, odinga.... the list goes on...I am sure Too's brother can handle it the way all those leaders all over the world have. IF he don't, 5 years is a short time. But now we are trynna share the family and community pain.

Its not about democracy Cheptabkoret. Mr Too did not finished his mandate due to an assassin bullet, therefore subjecting the decision to have his brother taking over of the remaining time of his earned mandate from the people of Ainamoi is not a double standard.

Give the guy a chance, if he is willing to drive the principles of former principle to the later.

Feasting on opportunism is not ideal either, 'read' Kalonzo wa Musyoka.

yeah, why not. that's just another token of loyalty from Ainamoi people as a sign of respect and appreciation to their fallen MP and his family

I don't really care who they pick to take that seat as long as he is a kale from Ainamoi. Let them give the seat to Kiptindinyo what the heck people will still vote him in.
