i cant help the nice feeling knowing that now the mps' allowances are taxable.
at least there is some ray of hope- reduced taxes on bread, milk, ugali flour- just the basics. step in the right direction i guess or at least i hope.

other than the fact that the cost of my beer went up.....i loved the thing on bread and milk.......but i always thought fuel is the mother of all price hikes in all sectors.....i heard nothing on it though.

The budget was good only that it came from the wrong people, it will have been genuine if it came from an ODM finance minister, New taxes are introduced but it will no translate into better living for our people in the villages, rather it leads to the PNU ministers owning charter planes. i think the way forward in kenya by which every one should think of is Majimbo. Lets all join hands and pray so that God shall deliver us out of the Pharaohs.

Pretty correct, the budget no longer looks on the basics of common man. This year may not be so indifferent. Everything is now costing alot more than an arm, a foot and a leg to common man. Lets hope that good policies shall be laid down someday. It is not any good to focus on future when we have a historically bad past we have never healed and want to forget easily.
Kudos friends who are building this nation.
