Noah na jammii yake took fourty years to carefully contruct it from well selected materials.... which GOD was directing as the chief architecture hence this teaches us to be submissive at all times.

Hi Guys. (I love you all with the LOVE of Christ).
I am sorry for dissappearing for some time. I was busy with other issues.
Thanx for your concern. There is nothing wrong with arguing or criticism of God's Word as long as we do it with an idea of building one another IN CHRIST. I am not offended in any case with the criticism, but i tell you, I am growing. God gave us the heart(Soul) as well as our minds to think.
If you recognize that you are a sinner, why don't you seek God's love and mercy that is free and an undeserved. It is by the Grace of God that we are saved. God hears the prayers of all. I cannot limit God since He is Omniscient, Omnipresent and omnipotent.
Thanx, See you.

memo, point well noted Very Happy ......on a lighter note though, I am not sure the bible is any help coz not only was I raised on it, but I have also read the damn thing from Taunet to Ngangutiet and all i find is a bunch of contradictions, half-facts, myths and stories that pretty much won't hold up to reality as we know it Rolling Eyes that's why i am leaning towards your latter point of HUMANISM where the best we can do in this world is to treat others the way we wanna be treated coz we don't know what's on the other side Wink...as racmos writes, don't sue me if i am wrong

I've realized that many of our people "fear" Theology. I come from a rural area and when my people heard that I was going to do Theology, they felt as if I was going the wrong way. It was not until the time they "saw" someone, who had gone before me, advancing like other people who had other "special" degrees like Doctors, Teachers, Engineers and so on, that they found out that Theology was also Important and even Better than other "fields". Many people would really bear witness with me. Many people who pass well in secondary school and have the calling to do Theology are convinced by our Kalenjin People not to do so because of some preconceived ideas and many people end up doing things that are not their wishes, but the wishes of their parents, teachers and community. These people at the end end up failing in life. God is the only source of our PURPOSE and GOAL in our lives and so we should learn to obey His Will always.
Kalenjins, let us never fear this, it will also bring great blessings to our Land. Ama mnataka "false teachers" to come to us. Our People need leaders from all corners of life including spiritual leaders. If you are one looking forward to join us, please do it without any hesitation. In Kenya, we have colleges that offer Theology Degrees and Diplomas and one is SCOTT THEOLOGICAL COLLEGE, which according to me is the best and it has a Charter from the Government. We have very few Kalenjins in this school. Let us join hands together and pray for our people. Let us encourage those who wish to join this field and let us teach our people about it. Theology is just like Law, Engineering e.t.c But REMEMBER this has more to do with God's Calling. God Bless You All.

Edu,ebu nishow vile theology iko linked na racism?kama black theology ni nini?

Many so-called Theologies have been began by people. Not all are good. Black Theology was started by someone somewhere to proof the so-called the Black people of Africa. In this case the person uses the Bible to proof his or her arquments. It contains alot. There is no clear indication in the Bible about the issue of races. Eg the issue of Esau and Jacob is used by many to justiufy themselves but I have no idea of any relationship with white and black people. Hope you will learn more!!!!

The generation counting in the Bible is different from the Kalenjin or other tribe's generations. i therefore admit that to some extent I do not know, but i think that this was applicable to the context of the Israelites and not us. But we have curses. He who killed the Catholic Father after knowing that He was a Priest and He who killed any other person who was innocent he or she will face the consequences: curses may-be! God Punishes us accordingly.
