There is something about delayed results that bring deja vu feeling.....it usually results in an otherwise trailing opponent to pull miracles and all of a sudden win an election juz like that....ring a bell! zimbabwe really learns big from the sister kenya. I wonder what the eventual results will be....

you right about that Chep...looks like good old Uncle Bob is borrowing heavily from Kibaki & his PNU mafia in demanding a re-run & accusing the opposition of stealing the election....wtf? Laughing

lol Chep, Mugabe is just doing what goes for "democracy"...one wouldn't have expected him to otherwise in lieu of the fact that Kibaki clearly stole the election but the so called "western govts " democracies supported him anyway...I am glad that Mugabe is at least standing up to George Kosengeng Bush & Gordon "whatever is in my interest" Brown...we need more leaders in africa who are willing to fight on behalf of thier brethren as opposed to selling out to western corporate & neo-colonialists imperialists...it's that simple in my humble view...truth hurts Evil or Very Mad

Cheptabkoret...pretty pliz, cut some slack on good old uncle Bob...he comes from the old school just like my own grandfather who was drafted by the British in Kipchimchim back in 1942 & made to fight for the British kingdom in Burma, now called myanmar...these guys went thru a lot of humiliation & I can understand why Mugabe is still fighting them....like my own Bomori told me, the colonialists looked down on them guys so bad that at strategy meetings, they used to say, "Ladies & gentlemen, Africans & their wives"...see what I mean?... Kibaki is a kihii/ngetet compared to Uncle Bob but that's just my personal view/opinion I could be wrong... Wink Laughing

One thing from all the previous elections - nigeria, Kenya, zimbawe - Elections is really a difficult process in africa. When people are campaignig everything seems and sounds like democracy but come elections, everybody complains the institutions manipulated, rigged and all that. Even the people who had the capacity to improve those institutions complain. wt hell is wrong with us? may be we need the white man to help us set up election bodies!

It is very sad to see what those guys are going through. I wonder what Kibaki thinks about this issue.

African politics is becoming sh*t....., we allow dictators to rape democracy...then plead with them to negotiate with a straight winning opposition to have dialoque.....then ati government of national unity!!. Then why should africans go to the polls in the first place? since it is now clear anytime we vote we waste the vote. And the Mbeki guy should have learnt alot from Mandela which he didn't....for him to support Mugabe is a laugh to the poverty, suffering, humiliation and torture being experienced by zimbabweans now.

tru dat. i wonder which country is next. its now becoming some sorta of trend in this africa. preparations for campaign then comes the real campaign then rigged elections, thereaftr some very bizarre swearing in. then power shairing checks in. its almost become a trend. and we thought we africans/blacks can go about our own business without the help from majuu but they still manage to have a say in whatever goes on/down back these sides. poor us.

ICC judges should issue that arrest warrant on Omar al-Bashir, next should be Mugabe, and our very own kibaki for stealing elections that led to so many deaths.
