| It is not wrong to be rich. But what matters is how we use the wealth. It is easy that our wealth may hinder us from glorifying and worshipping God. Antipah you are right but you need to understand more about the context in which Jesus and the rich man was. Bahrmasa, Christ is Cooming SOON. It is only hard for us to tell how soon did He meant but what we are sure of is that He is coming SOON! This is not a lie at all. God Bless.

............and so the bible says.
Edwin, you sound quite convinced but i do understand why-you have the faith. If, and God forbid (for your sake) such a thing is not true, what happens? It is an endless debate i know, so let me rest my case. That aside, my take is that God gave (gives) each one of us a key to get to him.Ng'ulei nenyon eng neng'ung'. Ngo't kityem kiboisyen nebo chitake ko mesultohi .Alak ko kerkei anan mach kokerkei amu kiboisyen eng oree ne kerkei.Kimuche, as humans to copy or imitate in our own mistaken wisdom other keys, but can we really have a chance? O LO LO!
Ara so? Kany keyaat konyek cho, Kiptaayat ne bo iman ko mabistech ako mobistech, achech chikibotye. Konyech inen kewekchin kei Very soon. Gari (KIPKWIRINKIRI) ne kibune ko kikiroste (Kikimete) eng oree woi kenyis karibu bokol che kakosirto.Mekany' kelasen kei kiy ne mo nenyon, amu mo nenyo! ako motoretech! ako matoretech!

| Barhmasa, I have never understood you well. Language is also a challenge. My Brother, if you don't mind, please tell me your stand. I wish to know what you meant by saying this "Gari (KIPKWIRINKIRI) ne kibune ko kikiroste (Kikimete) eng oree woi kenyis karibu bokol che kakosirto" and this phrase "Mekany' kelasen kei kiy ne mo nenyon, amu mo nenyo! ako motoretech! ako matoretech!". I am not understanding you. Pliz why can't you use English! I am happy to see your arquments pliz do not step down. We need to learn from one another as brothers and sisters and in this case we even help others. God Bless You and May He grant us an opportunity of Knowing Him more and More through one another.

MR. EDWIN, Amu ne si me boisyen kute ne nyo? K'obwoti kole kekei kelasenkei kuti ne kikonej Kiptaiyat, anan ne? ...well, English language is also a bit of a challenge to me. However, i will oblige to part of your request-to transliterate my statements;-Part one goes 'The vehicle we were meant to use we abandoned or deserted about a century ago'.The second part goes 'Let's not boast of something which is not ours because it may never help us and has never helped us'. You might have to think about our societal history and particularly our culture on a wider perspective to enable you grasp my point.
Besides that but closely related;-
It occured to me some years back that one of our main weakness as 'biik che tuen ko' we are very receptive and easy to influence. Many a times our people keep shying away from promulgating our own great ideas and instead embracing foreign ones. It appears to me that there is a tendency to wait for new things to emerge (from out there) so we can adopt.I think we are not being fair to ourselves, because 'what those can do, we can also do' never mind who gets to do it first.Look around the world today-everybody who cares to say i am a somebody is doing something their own way.And you know what! they are progressing while we are watching. They are stepping into the Global market to proudly sell while ours is more like stepping there to gladly buy. Oops! i got carried away. Thanks!

| I am and actually I can speak well our language, but it was my concern that as we know the Kalenjins still have the sub-tribes within it and so it is a challenge to understand one another. Thanx for your reply Sir. I appreciate it. But I think it is Good for us to accept the way things are. We were not "gifted" equally and so we should not ignore or despise the fact that our friends from the west overtook us in many aspects of life. I do accept the way things are and so I thank the white men, especially those who help us to prosper in life with good motives. Right now as we communicate, we are using people's "things" and they are good for us. The education that we are searching for began with them! I want you to think of those people who are strongly holding to their "primitive" at this moment, those who have never known or found everything that we do have and tell me if you could wish to live that way. We should therefore thank God and those people who have really helped us. After all, what is ours! We have nothing to be proud of except what God has given us!!Thanx.
