Good to see religious leaders are finally coming out to say what the country needs.....a new ELECTION coz anything less will be business as usual

| Why now? Is this their right time to participate? Many seem to have "eaten" politicians' money and hence feel guilt to speak? The church has the authority to address the issues of the state.

| church leaders are human beings and just like anybody can fall into the trap of corruption. You saw most of them participating in the campaigns and many falling in the team of those who defend falsehood. Eti Kibaki alishindaa.... All people even the young and the blind know that Kibaki rigged the Elections!!!

I insist these gentlemen of the cloth are right...these religious leaders know what they are talking about folks....NEW ELECTIONS is the only JUST way out coz anything else is tantamount to sending a cancer patient home with some painkillers as opposed to doing chemotheraphy to actually get rid of the cancer from the body...Folks, the way I see it, it's the same script being played over 7 over again...just games to kill time and drag everything meaningful that MUST be done thru the next % years...Kibaki agreed to have a 'prime minister' with 'supervisor duties' ONLY to look good enough in the eyes of the world & long enough for Kofi Annan and his team to leave town & for Kenyans to sing hallelujah together but trust me, he knows his PNU diehards in parliament aren't gonna agree to amend the constitution & give away any inch of power by actually creating an "executive" PM position with actual powers as head of govt. if this 'deal' holds, & I suspect it WON'T, Kenyans better be ready for proscrastination, do nothing parliament while they earn almost Ksh1M for the next 5 years while ordinary Raiya wallow in abject poverty

This coalition will not last five years!! For now both sides need to work together so as to make the much needed constitutional reforms!
But after that work is done, we must have new elections. i cannot stomach Kibaki and Lucy for long. I hope they will lie low like envelopes!!!

the so called coalition isn't even one...not just yet & not as long as Kibaki insists on having all the exective power as if the Kofi Anna accord doesn't mean jacksh1t....the Lemindet aka arap Mibey has nothing to loose at the point...he ought to just calla spade a spade and demand NEW ELECTIONS NOW coz even if they agree to coaltion, it's PRACTICALLY DEAD ON ARRIVAL folks coz the two WOULDN'T, COULDN'T & SHOULDN'T work together

the so called coalition isn't even a COALITION...not just yet & not as long as Kibaki insists on having all the executive power & calling all the shots as if the Kofi Anna accord didn't happen & doesn't mean jacksh1t....IMO, the Lemindet aka arap Mibey has nothing to loose at the point...he ought to be on the KENYAN PEOPLE'S SIDE, just call a spade a spade and demand NEW ELECTIONS NOW coz even if they agree to coalition, it's PRACTICALLY DEAD ON ARRIVAL folks coz the two gentlemen WOULDN'T, COULDN'T & SHOULDN'T work together
