Barhmasa, I agree with pretty much everything u say, thing is, we need to convince as many of our young people as we possibly can to see it our way as opposed to worshipping everything western that comes their way. Bahrmasa & Nyiganet, I agree with both you two distinguished gentlemen. In my personal view though, we in the diaspora are mandated and indeed have to try all we possibly can to educate our people, especially those still in the motherland about the futility of worshipping anything western that comes their way every damn day. Ever since the europeans invaded africa in the name of religion, nothing has gotten better for the natives and as a matter of fact, one can argue that things have gotten worse today if you consider the fact that the IMF & the World Bank would RATHER have today's african govts pay back ''predatory loans" whose contracts were signed over 30 years ago THAN use that money to provide medicine for HIV-infected patients & millions of children across the continent suffering from malaria and it's side effects. it makes you wonder where these institutions real priorities are and makes you question if they really cared about africans in the first place outside of stealing their natural resources, conquering and dividing them and designing a ''modern" way thru financial loaning institutions to make them slaves forever. well, i could be way off the mark here, but I DOUBT IT
