At first we met but I never said anything since I thought she was chepkokoyot and didn't have anything to do with kamama, then the second time she was with her friend and they were conversing in kipsigis, so I decided to make a move. Then the day came, I timed her at the same point she used to pass, and I just started by "ochamegei tibiikab gaa?" and it was a hit since we were in Mombasa. _________________ Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.

I have one actually, from an older lady in the village back in the day. She had just came to visit the folks, and of course we had to walk her home, since dusk was approaching....well you know the deal. To my surprise, half way up the hill she asked me " Ara ingen i sut sotet?" I was confused at first, and I played it off like " Bo chepyoskok sutet ab sotonik" Then to my surprise she was like " Acha aginye, sute sotonik chitugul, okot inye konyolun ne bo iman." I was laughing hysterically at the comment when she hit me in the face with "Nyon korun si aborun". Well the next day I .......did anyone say curiosity killed the cat? I must admit after that I looked at sotet in a very different way. _________________ "The optimist proclaims that we live in the best of all possible worlds, and the pessimist fears this is true."

Ara makisute sotet. Yeah we talk every once in a while. She is still around. Whatever happened back in the day happened.....although sometimes I wish I could go back to my yester years. You're right about the cat! _________________ "The optimist proclaims that we live in the best of all possible worlds, and the pessimist fears this is true."
