whats the difference between a shrink and a psychiatrist? and which 1 of the two is competent enuff to cure my demented mind?

if i'm not wrong that the one and the same thing... the two that i know are diff are psychiatrist and psychologist... both can help (talking and getting in your head) only that the psychiatrist can also prescibe meds... so thats definitely who you want to go with.... just one thing.. please don't forget to take them meds.

i concur with preciousA fully though i disagree on what the former does.........i happen to think that they are trained to do nothing but play tricks on someone's confused mind to a point where the client comes back to reality and uses some plain basic common sense which they could have done on their own in the first place

Memo, I am LOL...I love a woman with a sense of humor..... btw, you wouldn't be talking about my immediate post would you Wink ?.......k, my bad...can't you take a joke?...if u got offended i apologize but I was just expressing a personal opinion of which I didn't claim as gospel truth at all.......but, u know what, whatever symptoms you've got, be my guest and see a shrink aka psychiatrist aka therapist......I am sure they would be able to straighten you out.....check them out & Good luck Smile !!!
