Can you believe that in africa someone will decide at the age of 69 to step down with a year to go, to allow for a smooth transition.....it almost sounded like an april 1 fool joke till it turned out serious.... yawa... how come those old dawgs clinging to power not read the message loud n clear.

Chep, Botswana has always been the exception to the rule in African democracy...right from independence when Seretze Khama was elected the country's 1st Pressy, he graciously handed over to Kemutile Masire who handed over to Festus Mogae who inturn handed over to Seretze Ian Khama Jr. I can only wish other african countries would read from the same script no wonder Botswana has no corruption & poverty at all. Very Happy

what happened was, the greedy folks, not unlike Kibaki & his kikuyu thief mafia group thought they could shove anything up Kenyans's butt...not exluding taking a leave of absence from reality...thing is, thanks to current IT technology, Kenyans have gotten up, know what's going & can't be railroaded anymore...the Lemindet must step up to the plate & call for fresh presidential elections coz that's the only way JUSTICE will be served...damn it....NEW ELECTIONS NOW!!! Mad Evil or Very Mad

I dont see how the current coalition will last beyond 12-15 months from now.

I hope the lemindet guy plays his cards properly because his time to show political maturity is now.

The only thing I pray for is a new constitution though. I hope this guys make it happen.
