A few days ago I was analyzing when i am most in rapport with the supreme, suprisingly it is when a dear one or myself is sick that i call unto God so much, when sitting for those exam papers or when going for that interview, or missing an accident by a whisker, those are among the times that I pray the most.... suprisingly and almost shockingly He finds time to come at that time and sit awhile with me...... listen to Josh Groban song sometime( You raise me up),..... find a time sometime juz to pray ifnt for anything, for the sheer fact of being

No chep. that shouldn't be the case. Cool

You have heard of this???... during peace time prepare for war Exclamation Exclamation So people should not be seeking God during such times... in any case it should be the other way round. Should you find yourself in such a situation you should be telling God that I have been faithful to you all this time so am leaving this to you to fight for me.

Ama vipi Edwin??? Laughing

Mungu hataki nusu nusu. You need to submit to Him fully. Our lives should demonstrate a continuous flow of honor and praise to God. Whether in joy or in difficulty.

What is prayer? You pray even when you say "Mungu unisaidie". Don't think of prayer always as those long statemetns that we make in an organized manner. Prayer is something that we even make unawarely.

Cheptabkoret,
It's human nature. The only time the human race will seek help outside the visible entity, is when something tragic happens or when they need a miracle. I have actually never heard of anyone asking for devine intervention when they want to do something they can obviously achieve like drive to work, or cook a meal or be thankful for everyday stuff like being able to breath, see, walk etc. Is it that we do this simple thing by ourselves or is it that the human race is so selfish that they only time we are greatful or ask for help is when something extra ordinary happens. If Kiptayat controls everything we should learn to build rapport with him at all times, as opposed to when we are in dire need. I would be piised off if the only time I heard from a friend is when he?she needed something. But then again I'm only human! Do not provoke the devine.[/youtube]

FDR once said, "there's nothing to FEAR but FEAR itself"........In my opinion, coz most folks have substituted that line for the "FEAR of GOD", I think most humans today only resort to prayer during times of uncertainty, despair, sorrow, FEAR and the unknown...... one's religion notwitstanding by the way...........Wink

ndio.... shindwe

but yea... while we are supposed to be constantly praying, they say the hard times are Gods way of pulling us back to refocus -so its only normal to be more prayerful at those times.
