Hon Mwai Kibaki, the MP for Othaya, does not understand dialogue. Kenyans must hence come out in massive mass protests to press for our rights.

When he is given space, he will engage us in processes that are time wasting as he consolidates his position.

My take is simple; ODM must not relent in the struggle, and Kibaki and the police cannot stand on our way to achieve what we want.

In the current mediation call, one thing is becoming clear by the day; Poghisio and Kalonzo are rapidly joining Cardinal John Njue as the double agents of confusion. They have become dishonest peace brokers.

They savor their lofty positions as they pretend that they can be peace merchants. You only need to look at the speed by which Poghisio and Kalonzo took up their ministerial appointments from Kibaki. You would be excused if you cannot see the conspiracy therein.

Poghisio was the first to take up his office, after Kibaki named his cabinet. The second in line was Kalonzo, who even arrived in office before the person he was replacing arrived. This swiftness in taking office betrayed all our fears all along that Kalost was a Kibaki project.

He had been promised the VP position way back in April, and his splitting ODM was just part of the script. His vote tally being raised from 200,000 votes to almost 900,000 votes was also part of the game plan.

It was little wonder then when he joined PNU in demanding that Kivuitu names Kibaki the president. He exactly knew what there was in it for him and Poghisio.

Again look at the enthusiasm with which Poghisio talks. He is all over the press. But I accuse the press for cowering infront of Poghisio. When they were gagged from giving us live coverage, I thought the Media Council said no.

But to my chagrin, they are still talking about the gag. If you say no, you do not obey. But the press have obeyed the gag order, and any pretence to the contrary are just side shows.

ODM must hence keep the pressure on Kibaki by calling for more mass protests. We must not also honour Kalonzo by sitting in a committee that he chairs.

He is part of the problem, just like Kibaki and Museveni. We must reject all these pretenders. And as the Captain has said, we cannot sit in a committee chaired by Judas, the Iscariot.
